Average THC Content in Seized Thai Stick Samples (1972 - 2008)

Thai Stick has traditionally been a scare commodity in the United States, as is reflected here in the low number of samples available for testing in most years. It was a much higher quality product than most of the commercially avaialble cannabis (a market dominated by lower quality "brick" weed). In terms of both quality and potency, thai stick is on par with sinsemilla. It has always been a rare commodity in the US market, and the extremely low number of samples tested reflect its role as a novelty product that was never available in very large quantities. Due to poor handling and an extremely low sample rate, the numbers here likely do not reflect well upon the actual potency levels of the product.
