We Have Clearly Lost Our Minds

As part of my continuing efforts to expose the drugwar as a form of societal psychosis, I offer here extracts gleaned from magazine articles published over the past 10 decades of drugwar. If nothing else, this should prove to even the most casual observer that the drugwar completely satisfies the folk definition of insanity: doing the exact same thing over and over with the expectation of a different outcome. Like the rest of the site, this part is constantly being updated as I track down and excerpt the pertinent details.

Drug War Through the Years: Same S*** Different Day

Drug Exposed Babies

The good news is that hardly any pregnant women are active drug users. The bad news is that the rest of us are punished over yet another "problem" of drug use that turns out to be mostly vapor.

Drug Epidemics

At various points in time one or another drug has been declared the "epidemic" flavor of the moment. Throughout it all, two things are abundantly clear: humans will use drugs, and society actually isn't imperiled as a result.

'Meth' Epidemic

Amphetamines have been around for a very long time. As a result, they make a periodic repeated appearance on the scene as the latest scary drug "epidemic."

Scary THC Content

Supposedly, the THC content of illicit marijuana has been a 'concern' for decades. But given that 100% THC is available as a prescription medicine one has to wonder why significantly less potent modern day "super-weed" is thought to be scary or dangerous in any way.
